Pride Celebrations in Boston are expected to return in full, this time with new leadership. Boston had no official pride celebrations in 2021, as the official “LGBTQ+” organization at the time dissolved right in June of that year. In 2022, LGBTQ+ leaders scrambled to put something together for June 2022. Pop-Up Pride was the result, essentially the first step for what and how Boston Pride will be celebrated thereafter.
In February 2023, Boston Pride For The People (BP4TP), which was pretty much behind the pop-up pride, announced that Boston Pride will be returning on June 10, with the traditional parade and festivities. Stay tuned for more details as the year progresses.
