Philadelphia’s Pride has experienced Boston syndrome, in that its long standing pride organization, Philly Pride Presents, has dissolved amid controversy. The controversy? Attempting to portray the police as victims in the Stonewall Riots, as well as transphobic language… From a LGBTQ+ Center?!? Unlike Boston however, Philadelphia already has new leadership that has stepped up to continue Pride in Philly: The PHL Pride Collective. The dates for the Pride are set for June 3-5.
